RELOCATION AGREEMENT cont. <br /> for <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> 4. EQUIPMENT. Unless otherwise provided for in the Proposal for Relocation, all <br /> carts, dollies, and other miscellaneous equipment will be returned to Double Day <br /> Office Setwices, Inc. on the final day of the move. If any carts and/or dollies are <br /> left on site for the Client's use, the rental charges shall be: $5.00/carffday and <br /> $2.00/dolly/day. All labor required to pick up equip~nent will be billed on a time <br /> and materials basis. <br /> <br /> 5. RESCHEDULING OF MOVE. Should the Client wish to rescbednle or ofl~erwise <br /> alter the conditions of the move, Double Day must be given 96 hours notice. <br /> Client will be subject to a charge equivalent to 20% of the estimated cost for <br /> relocation for any changes in the scope of the project made witlfin 96 hours of the <br /> time schednled for work to begin. <br /> <br /> 6. OVERTIME. Crews will be scheduled to work for eight hour slfifis or less. Every <br /> effort will be made to avoid situations which would incur overtime rates. However, <br /> if circtunstances beyond the control of Double Day Office Services, Inc. make it <br /> necessary for a crew to work longer than eight hours, overtime rates equivalent to <br /> one and one half thnes our quoted hourly rates will be charged. <br /> <br /> 7. DAMAGE. $ .60 per potmd, per article is the standard value used in our industry <br /> and is made available at no additional charge. Any damage clahn will be settled at <br /> $ .60 per pound, per article unless you request and pay for additional valnation. <br /> <br /> 8. AUTHORIZATION. List the individual who is authorized to speak and act on <br /> behalf of City of Redwood City for the purposes of tlfis relocation project. <br /> Authorized representative(s) who will be present during tbe project <br /> are~ <br /> <br /> 9. PAYMENT. A DEPOSIT of 50% ($8344.00) is due July 31. Acceptable method <br /> of pa3qnent is Company Check or Visa/Master Card. The balance of move costs <br /> will be paid net ten days fi'om invoice date. Client agrees to pay service charges of <br /> one and one half percent per month on any past due mnotmts.
