ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> FOR THE <br /> <br /> DEVELOPMENT OF A "MODEL COMPLEX" <br /> AT GOSSAMER VILLAGE SUBDIVISION <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~day of ~ ~u~ <br />1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation <br />of the State of California, ("City"), and M. J. BROCK & SONS, INC., a Delaware <br />Corporation, dba RYLAND HOMES BAY AREA DIVISION ("Subdivider"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Subdivider is owner of record of that certain tract of land <br />known and designated as Gossamer Village Subdivision, situated in the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council is willing to enter into an agreement with <br />Subdivider with respect to the development of a "model complex" at said <br />subdivision; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in order to insure satisfactory performance by <br />Subdivider of its obligations hereunder, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Subdivider shall, at its own cost and expense, furnish all the materials <br />and do all the work hereinabove or hereinafter described, which shall be in <br />accordance with and as provided for, in those certain specifications entitled, <br />"Specifications for Improvements for Models, Gossamer Village Subdivision" and <br />those improvement plans entitled "Improvement Plans Gossamer Village Model <br />Complex," now on file in the office of the City Engineer, to which plans and <br /> <br />F:',S hared\Redwood~Cou ncil 1 <br />Agmt-124 <br />FXS:r9 <br /> <br /> <br />
