- ~ SWC:sh 12/14/84 <br /> <br /> (b) The Redevelopment Plan as amended by Amendment No. <br /> 1 to Redevelopment Project No. 2 will enable the area <br /> described within the Gateway Sub-Area to be redeveloped in <br /> conformity with the Community Redevelopment Law and in the <br /> interest of the public peace, health, safety and welfare. <br /> This finding is based upon the fact that redevelopment will <br /> implement the objectives of the Community Redevelopment Law <br /> by aiding in the elimination and prevention of the spread of <br /> conditions of blight and deterioration in said area. <br /> <br /> (c) The adoption and carrying out of the Redevelopment <br /> Plan as amended by Amendment No. 1 is economically sound and <br /> feasible. This finding is based upon the analysis in the <br /> Report of the Agency to the Council and the fact that under <br /> the Redevelopment Plan no public redevelopment activity will <br /> be undertaken unless the Agency can demonstrate that it has <br /> adequate revenue to finance such activity. <br /> <br /> (d) The Redevelopment Plan and the Amendment No. 1 <br /> conforms to the General Plan of the City of Redwood City. <br /> This finding is based upon the finding of the Planning <br /> Commission adopted on October 16, 1984 that the <br /> Redevelopment Plan as amended by Amendment No. 1 conforms to <br /> the General Plan of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> (e) The carrying out of the Redevelopment Plan as <br /> amended will promote the public peace, health, safety and <br /> welfare of the City of Redwood City and will effectuate the <br /> <br /> <br />
