be exclusive of the other or exclusive of any remedies provided by law, and that <br />exercise of one right, power, option, or remedy by Lessor shall not impair its <br />rights or any other right, power, option or remedy. <br /> <br /> 26. MODIFICATIONS. Notwithstanding any of the previsions of this <br />Lease Agreement, the parties hereto may hereafter by mutual agreement in <br />writing approved by resolution of the parties' respective governing bodies, agree <br />to modifications thereof or additions thereto, provided such amendments do not <br />substantially alter or change the terms thereof and are not forbidden by the <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City or other law. <br /> <br /> Lessor shall have the right to grant reasonable extensions of time or <br />times, fixed by this Lease for any purpose; provided that such extensions be first <br />authorized by resolution of Lessor's Commission. <br /> <br /> 27. ASSIGNMENTS; SUBLEASE. Lessee shall have the right to sublet <br />the Leased Premises, or assign its interest in this Lease, or both; provided, <br />however, that such subletting or assignment shall have first been consented to <br />by Lessor's Commission, evidenced by resolution of said Commission, which <br />consent shall not unreasonably be withheld. <br /> <br /> Without limitation upon the foregoing, Lessee may assign this agreement <br />or any interest therein to a wholly owned subsidiary or any corporation with which <br />it may merge or to which it may sell all or substantially all of this assets; provided, <br />that Lessee shall agree in writing to be bound by the covenants, conditions, and <br />agreements contained herein; and provided further that a copy of such <br />agreement to be bound shall be furnished to Lessor prior to its effective date. <br /> <br /> Lease-01 1 6 <br /> G:Shared/SBSA <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 03/11/97 <br /> 03/14/97 <br /> 04/09/97R <br /> <br /> <br />
