Central Computer System. The Central Computer System consists of a
computer, work station, and a 20-inch minimum color monitor located in the
dispatch room so as to be conveniently accessible to dispatchers. It is equipped
with an operating system and Proprietary Trilon Software. The accompanying
annunciator provides a pulsing light and audible alarm to signal any new event.
A speaker, a printer, an extemal digital thermometer, and a compact tape drive
for storing data are also part of the System.

During the first year of the Agreement, Supplier may, subject to the Police
Chief's prior written approval, elect to provide a second computer at no cost to
City to be located outside the dispatch room to accommodate software upgrade
testing without interrupting the Police Dispatchers. The second computer will
allow Supplier to provide training or demonstrations outside the dispatch center.

.Software. The central computer system is equipped with Proprietary
Trilon Software which is designed to locate gunshots (from handguns or rifles)
within most of the Subject Area, translate such detected sounds to the central
computer system and display the gunshot location on the Police Dispatcher's
screen within forty (40) seconds, provided, however, that Supplier will use its
best efforts to cause the display of location on the Police Dispatcher's screen
within a shorter period of time. The software is designed to discriminate against
background impulsive noises by presenting sound recording(s) on the Police
Dispatcher's screen. The sensors and software are designed and constructed to

Agmt-079
Shared/Redwood/Council
FXS:rg
07/21/97
A-2

EXHIBIT "A"
