Highway 101/H011y <br /> Street interchange system and surrounding ad�acent <br /> properties, together with an inlet channel from the <br /> interchange to the retention basin and a Bay water <br /> inlet structure for water quality control to facili- <br /> + tate the environmental purposes within the channel and <br /> � basin areas includ.tng the creation of a wetland island <br /> within the basin and a pumping station and discharge <br /> conduit to control water elevations within the basin <br /> to provide far adequate s�torm water storage. <br /> 4 Exterior (Steinberger) Levee 321,000 <br /> Improvement of 2400 linear feet of the exterior levee <br /> along Steinberger Slough between Marlin No. 2 Subdivi- <br /> sion and the County F.irport at San Carlos, protecting <br /> the proposed commercial development in Pro�ect Area "A" <br /> by improvement of the existing levee to the standards <br /> set forth by the Corps of Engineers and the Department <br /> of [iousing and Urban Development toyether with the seismic <br /> criteria developed by the Corps, HUD and the Redwood City <br /> Seismic Review Board. <br /> I <br />
