MINUTE ORDER <br />i <br /># 79 -94 <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br />DATE May 8, 1979 <br />Attention City Manager <br />City Attorney <br />Director of Parks and Recreation <br />In the Matter of Creation of a senior citizens advisory committee <br />At the meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on <br />May 7, 1979 , at which were present <br />Councilmen Biagi, Bury, Leipzig, Norris, Rhodes and Mayor Barrett <br />I <br />on motion of Councilman Leipzlg , seconded by <br />Councilman Bury duly carried and entered <br />on the minutes, it was ordered to approve the recommendations in Mayor <br />Barrett's letter dated May 3 re creation of a senior citizens <br />advisory committee <br />(Recommendations are that the City Council dissolve the inactive <br />Redwood City Senior Center Committee, and <br />that the City Council authorize formation of <br />a Senior Citizens Advisory Committee to advise <br />the Park and Recreation Commission on matters <br />pertaining to senior programs and activities, <br />and that the staff be directed to prepare an <br />appropriate scope of responsibilities for <br />the new committee ) <br />CITY CLERK <br />
