The Invocation was led by the Reverend Ralph T Daniel, First Baptist Church. Roll Call Councilmen present: Barrett, Biagi, Bury (arrived 7 33 p.m ), Norris, Rhodes, Vega and Mayor Leipzig Counctlmen absent None Officials and staff present City Manager Fales, City Attorney Schrtcker, City Clerk Hildebrand and Planning Director Schroeter, Parks and Recreations Director Weeks, Building and Transportation ' Director Balsamo, Police Chief Bold Approval of Minutes MOTION. Councilman Rhodes moved, seconded by Councilman Barrett, approval of the following Minutes as submitted City Council, � January 3, 1977; Executive Session, January 4, and Executive Session, January 5, 1977 The motion carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilman Norris abstaining from the City Council meeting of January 3 and the Exe- cutive Session of January 4, 1977 and Councilman Biagi abstaining from the Executive Session of January 5. Public Hearing - Appeal from the denial of the Planning Commission of an application for variance to permit the con- struction of a second dwelling unit behind an oriqinal dwelling unit with a nine-foot side yard setback where 15 feet is re uired, 3048 Hoover Street Lawrence Stewart, Appellant Mayor Leipzig advised that the sub�ect public hearing continues open ' from January 3.
