Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi, ' <br /> ' that Condition (s) (Plann mg Commission Condition No 19) be amended <br /> so that the ratio of parking spaces per unit be changed to 2 24 <br /> ' parking spaces instead of the 2.3 spaces per unit in the proposed <br /> resolution. , " <br /> The amendment to Condition (s) of the proposed resolution carried � <br /> ; unanimously by voice vote. (MINUTE ORDER NO 77-88) � <br /> , , <br /> „ MOTION Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi, that <br /> � Condit�on (i) (Planning Commission Condition No 9) be changed with <br /> � the insertion of "and filled with salt water" following "That the <br /> � pond be designed for salt water.' � <br /> ; City Attorney Schricker pointed out that the emergency water con- . <br /> , servation ordinance (ORDINANCE N0. 1704) would prohibit the filling <br /> ' of the pond with fresh water while the emergency exists in any case <br /> 0 <br /> Niel Davidson (see above) advised that studies indicate the pond ' <br /> can be filled with salt water, but that the developer would prefer � <br /> to retain the flexib7lity in Condition (i) wherein it might be pos- <br /> s�ble to fill the pond with fresh water when there is adequate supply, <br /> ' if studies should prove it is more workable � <br /> � <br /> Mr Fales advised that the water circulatory system and spray are <br /> ' more expensive for salt water and that limitations as to the type of <br /> plantings which could be used would exist <br /> Discussion followed concerning intended use of the lagoons for storm t <br /> drains, problems which might be encountered with a fresh water pond, <br /> and the Planning Commission intent to allow some flexibility as to <br /> use of fresh or salt water in the pond: <br /> The amendment to Condition (i�) failed on the following roll call vote. <br /> .
