Barrett, Biagi, Bury, Norris, Rhodes, Vega and <br /> Mayor Leipzig <br /> Councilmen absent: None <br /> Offictals and staff present: City Manager Fales, Finance Director <br /> ference, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Clerk Hildebrand and <br /> Public Works Director Pusich, Parks and Recreation D�rector Weeks, <br /> City Librarian Vollmayer, Ch�ef Building Official Gyselbrecht, Police <br /> Chief Bold, Fire Chief Keller <br /> GENERAL DISCUSSION <br /> City Manager Fales advised that the new extension of the State and � <br /> Local Assistance Act, known as Revenue Sharing, requires that a <br /> public hear�ng be held by the individual responsible for submitting ,_ <br /> the Budget and another public hearing to be held by the City Council. <br /> The first hearing was advertised in accordance with the requirements <br /> of the Act and held on April 19, 1977. Mr. Fales requested that <br /> Council set a date for their public hearing, observing that publica- <br /> tion of notice of hearing is required at least ten days preceding <br /> the hear�ng. <br /> There being no ob�ection, Mayor Leipzig ordered the public hearinq by <br /> the City Council of items related to the State and Local Assistance <br /> Act (Revenue Sharing) be held at 9 00 a.m , Saturday, May 21, 1977 <br /> ' �n the Board of Superv�sors Chambers, 401 Marshall Street, and re- ' <br /> quested the City Clerk to so advertise <br /> City Manager Fales then described the new programmatic presentation <br /> of the Recomnended Annual Budget 1977-78 and the principal sources <br /> of revenue to the City.
