24s � � ADDITION TO MOTION: At the request of Councilman Biagi and w�th the consent of his second, Councilman Rhodes stated that a Condition 7 is added to-his motion to,the effect that public viewing of the rowing event be prohibited from the automobile lanes on the`bridge and that - Mobil be requir2d to enforce the,condition in accordance with the re- quirements of Condition 4. ° ° ,'' � �y ' The motion with the added condition carried unanimously b"y voice vote. (MINUTE ORDER NO 77-95) �, Mayor Leipzig stated for the record that it should be understood by members of the audience that the City welcomes the Pac-8 event and has no desire to create difficulties for the sponsor Mayor Leipzig stated further that the permit request caused a great deal of difficulty for the City because it was only made on May 4, did not allow sufficient time for investigation, and that the City had already made a cortem tment to Radio Station KNBR to permit their "Good Times" Parade to be held in the City on the same date She noted also that widespread adver- tising of the Pac-8 event has taken place, but no permit request to conduct it had been requested or granted Consent Calendar MOTION• Title having been read, Councilman Biagi moved, seconded by Councilman Norris, the adoption of the foliowing resolution and approval of all other items.
