_ �2 6 7 <br /> MOTION Councilman Norr�s moved, seconded by Councilman Vega, that <br /> Revenue Sharing Funds ir� the amount of Y5,000 be allocated to the <br /> Senior Citizen Drop-In Center. <br /> CLARIFICATION• Councilman Norr�s advised that the $9,675 allocation <br /> � requested by the Center includes $2,170 for transportation cost, and <br /> he has not included that amount in his mot�on, since it is antici- <br /> pated the SamTrans Redi-Wheels Program will provide the needed trans- <br /> portation, leaving a balance of $7,505, and that the County should <br /> be willing to pick up $2,505, causing the City's contribution to be <br /> the $5,000 stated in the motion. <br /> AMENDMENT TO MOTION Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Council- <br /> man Bury, to change the amount of Revenue Sharing Funds to be allocated <br /> a • to the Senior Citizen Drop-In Center to $7,500. <br /> CLARIFICATION Councilman Barrett stated that the County has already <br /> contributed some 75% of the Drop-In Center Budget, and the Center <br /> request was for operating funds to cover the interim period until <br /> County funds are again available next October. <br /> SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT Councilman Rhodes moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Biagi, to reduce the Revenue Sharing Fund allocation in the amended <br /> motion from $7,500 to $3,750. <br /> The substitute amendment failed by ma,7ority voice vote <br /> 7ne motion as amended carried on the folloaing roll call vote (to <br /> allocate Revenue Shar�ng Funds in the amount of $7,500 to the <br /> ' Senior Citizen Drop-In Center) <br /> Ayes• Councilman Barrett, Bury, Norris, Vega and Mayor Le�pzig <br /> Noes Councilmen Biagi, Rhodes <br /> Ad,7ournraent <br /> On rnot�on duly made, seconded and carried, the City Council ad�ourned <br /> �o an executive session at 4 00 p m, Monday, May 23, 1977 tn the <br /> Office of tne City Manager for the purpose of considering labor <br /> negotiations The Council ad,7ourned at 4 30 p m <br /> (i�OTE The next Budget Study Session will be held on Saturday, June 4, <br /> 1977 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 401 Marshall Street ) <br /> JACQUELINE C HILDEBRAND <br /> City Clerk <br /> ' � <br /> _ Ad� Mtg <br /> 5/21/77 <br /> Budget <br /> .��F <br />
