Councilman Rhodes moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi=, that the water allocatton to Steve Yaeger, 3355 Dover Road, be increased from 15 to 18 untts per billing period in recognit�on of the needs of the new baby. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilman Bury abstaining ' - (MINUTE ORDER• N0. 77,-200) In response to question, Director of Public Works Pusich advised that about 1600.appeals of water allocation have been made, but that many, were misunderstandings by persons using less than ten units per bil.li�g � period and only a few have been appealed to Council. Mr Pusich stated that he believes the City is saving more water under the emergency ordinance than would be saved on a per capita allocation basis Mrs Gonzales (,see above) requested equal treatment w�th regard,to water allocation for her new residence. MOTION. Councilman Vega moved to tncrease the water allocation to Alice Gonzales, 616 Dory Lane, from 15 units to 20 units per billing� period The motion died for lack of a second. In response to question, Mr. Pusich advised that the present alloca- tion to Mrs Gonzales includes some water for landscaping since hers was installed before the ordinance was adopted, noting that no such allocation �s made to residences constructed after enactment of the ordinance MOTION Councilman Biagi moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to , deny the appeal of Alice Gonzales, 616 Dory Lane, for increased water allocation. The motion carried by ma�ority voice vote, Mayor Leipzig determining the vote to be 5- 1 with Councilman Bury abstaining.
