�oz MOTION WITHDRAWN Upon advice of City Attorney Schricker that Council may hear additional testimony at this time and then continue the matter and that Council has the optton of closing the public hearing or permitting it to remain open if the matter is continued, Councilman Rhodes, with the consent of his second, withdrew his motion. , Bob Filtppi, 84 Central Avenue, filed a letter from Kenneth W. Beck, 83 Bonita Avenue, opposing the proposed development. Mr filippi also read a petition from 22 res�dents of the sub�ect neighborhood opposing construction of the proposed development. Discussion continued and Mr Blomquist and Mr. Schoenfeld commented and replied to questions concerning the soundproofing requirements for condominiums, the fact that the proposed units will be single- family homes, the fact that more dense development of the property would be possible under the R-2 zoning assigned to it than is being requested; whether better layout of the development is possible; and to what extent design must be considered in granting an application for a planned development permit Nils Haga, applicant, stated that it is his intention to build good quality homes on the sub,7ect property. MOTION Councilman Rhodes moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi, to continue the public heartng open on the application for Planned De- velopment Permit of Nils Haga, 104 Central Avenue, until the next meeting of the City Council on Monday, October 3, 1977. -The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. , (MINUTE ORDER N0. 77-208) City Attorney Schricker advised that no republication of Notice of Hearing is required and called attention to the presence of the applicant and his representative in the audience.
