�oz <br /> MOTION WITHDRAWN Upon advice of City Attorney Schricker that Council <br /> may hear additional testimony at this time and then continue the <br /> matter and that Council has the optton of closing the public hearing <br /> or permitting it to remain open if the matter is continued, Councilman <br /> Rhodes, with the consent of his second, withdrew his motion. <br /> , Bob Filtppi, 84 Central Avenue, filed a letter from Kenneth W. Beck, <br /> 83 Bonita Avenue, opposing the proposed development. Mr filippi <br /> also read a petition from 22 res�dents of the sub�ect neighborhood <br /> opposing construction of the proposed development. <br /> Discussion continued and Mr Blomquist and Mr. Schoenfeld commented <br /> and replied to questions concerning the soundproofing requirements <br /> for condominiums, the fact that the proposed units will be single- <br /> family homes, the fact that more dense development of the property <br /> would be possible under the R-2 zoning assigned to it than is being <br /> requested; whether better layout of the development is possible; and <br /> to what extent design must be considered in granting an application <br /> for a planned development permit <br /> Nils Haga, applicant, stated that it is his intention to build good <br /> quality homes on the sub,7ect property. <br /> MOTION Councilman Rhodes moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi, to <br /> continue the public heartng open on the application for Planned De- <br /> velopment Permit of Nils Haga, 104 Central Avenue, until the next <br /> meeting of the City Council on Monday, October 3, 1977. <br /> -The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> , (MINUTE ORDER N0. 77-208) <br /> City Attorney Schricker advised that no republication of Notice of <br /> Hearing is required and called attention to the presence of the <br /> applicant and his representative in the audience.
