Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes`, to <br /> approve the following• <br /> Approval of warrants nos. 33,124 to 33,258, totaling $95,567.29 <br /> Request of Councilman Norris to attend the Legislation Implemen- , <br /> tation Program of the League of California Cities in San Francisco <br /> on November 10, 1977. (MINUTE ORDER N0: 77-234) <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. � <br /> Amendment of Bay Con servation <br /> and Deve opment Coimm ssion BCDC) Permit <br /> Councilman Norris reported that the BCDC permit issued to Bren De= <br /> velopment Corporation for homes being constructed'in Redwood Shores <br /> was amended by BCDC to remove the condition with regard to public <br /> park�ng in accordance with the request of the City and of Bren. <br /> Councilman Norris commended staff for the presentation made to BCDC <br /> regarding the City�'s position in the matter. <br /> Civil Defense and Disaster Council <br /> � Counc�lman Rhodes, the City's representative on the sub�ect Couricil, <br /> reported that the Counc�l had decided, by mot�on, to proceed with a <br /> plan showing each city in the county having its own Public Service <br /> Answering�Point (PSAP). He advised that it is not expected the ' <br /> decis�on will prevent subre9ional cooperation. <br /> Trip Report - Washington, D.C. <br /> Counc�lman Rhodes advised that on his rece�nt trip to Washington, D.C., <br /> he met with Del Smith, the City's representative there, and in meet- <br /> ings with certain members of the U. S. House of Representat�ves and <br /> Senate at which matters of general interest to the Ci,ty were discussed. <br /> He stated it was recommended to him that the City Counctl continue <br /> working closely with Congressmen McCloskey and Ryan.
