None <br /> Officials and staff present: City Manager Fales, City Attorney <br /> Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Clerk Hildebrand and <br /> ' Public Works Director Pusich, Planning Director Schroeter, Police <br /> Chief Bold, Port Manager DiPietro <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> MOTION Councilman Bury moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to <br /> approve as submitted the Minutes of the Study Session of November 7, <br /> 1977 and the City Council Meeting of November 14, 1977. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilman Norris ab- <br /> staining from the M�nutes of November 14, 1977. <br /> � Comprehensive Water Resources Management <br /> Plan of San Mateo County <br /> � City Manager Fales referred to the San Mateo County Comprehensive <br /> Water Resources Management Plan and the Executive Summary prepared <br /> by Leeds, Hill and Jewett, Inc., April 1977. Mr Fales noted that <br /> the Plar had been distributed to Council on September 29 for review, <br /> observing that the County Department of Public 4lorks asked for con- <br /> sideration and comments on the Draft. <br /> Bob Eppler, Senior Civil Engineer, San Mateo County, representing <br /> ' the Peninsula Water Agency, presented a slide show entitled "2020 <br /> Vision" dep�citing the County water plan from the point of view of <br /> the Year 2020. Following the presentation, Mr. Eppler advised that <br /> comr�er�ts from cities will be incorporated into the final Plan which <br /> will be prepared and submitted to the Peninsula Water Agency and <br /> then to the Board of Supervisors, following which the cities in the <br /> � Council will be asked to ratify it. <br /> Discussion followed concerning the effectiveness of conservation <br /> of water, the probable need for an educat�on program to continue <br /> water conservation by citizens, and the need to encourage use of <br /> water saving devices whether or not the present drought eases th�s <br /> winter. <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 11/21/77 <br /> • , , r,. ��� _ � � ,,� �. , , , <br />
