17'8 Written Commum cations (continued) Attent�on was called to the Minutes of the City Council meeting of January 24, 1977 on which date the complete F�re Station re- port was presented to Counc�l and Mr Fales agreed to present the report to a meeting of RSHA provided it was made clear that the report is presented �n the context of the responsibility of ' Council to the entire City, and suggestion was made that perhaps that is what the author of the letter had in mind. It was pointed out that it would be assumed that if such a report were to be y made to any group in the City that the group would make arrange- ments in advance w�th Council and staff as to a mutually con- vement date. MOTION Counc�lman Norris moved, seconded by CDuncilman Bury, that a City staff inember be assigned to attend the meeting of the Redwood Shores Homeowners Association on March 17, 1977 to answer'questions with regard to the Fire Station Report and concerning parks, that RSHA be informed by letter from Mayor Leipzig that the�r request that Counc�l members attend the meeting was not presented in time, that regrets be expressed, and that RSHA be advised that any action or attempt to influ- ence act}on of the City Council would have to take place at a regular meeting of the C�ty Council. � � � The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
