T�etle having been read, Councilman Vega introduced the <br /> following resolution and moved, seconded by Counc�lman Barrett, <br /> its adoption � <br /> ' RESOLUTION N0. 8041 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS IN RESULT OF GENERAL�MUNICIPAL <br /> ELECTION HELD OPl APRIL 11, 1978 <br /> 6 <br /> � The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> Mayor Leipzig thanked members of the City Council and staff for <br /> their help and cooperation during her term as Mayor, noting that <br /> ' she is not a candidate for reelection for Mayor because she ts_ � <br /> seeking another office at this time. <br /> Vice Mayor Barrett presented a Plaque for Distinguished Service <br /> to Mayor Leipzig cortmending her for her outstanding �ob as Mayor ��' <br /> ' of Redwood City for the past two years. � <br /> Mayor Leipzig presented a Plaque for Distinguished Service to Council- <br /> man Vega and called attention to his service to the City both as a <br /> member of the City Council and in many other capacities in the com- <br /> munity over the years. <br /> Ad,7ournment Sine Die <br /> ' MOTION. Councilman Biagi moved, seconded by Councilman Norris, to <br /> ad,7ourn sine die. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> The City Council ad�ourned sine die at 7.45 p m. <br /> � ------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> Oath of Office - Certificates of Election <br /> The Oath of Office was administered to newly reelected Council members <br /> Michael J. Barrett and Bill Rhodes and to newly elected Council member <br /> Gerald R.
