�y5 Written Communications (continued) City Manager Fales referred to his report of May 5, 1978 re- garding Redwood City 6eneral Improvement Distr�ct No. 1-64 and attaching the sub�ect letters. Mr. Fales commented on the content of the letter from Mobil, Mayor Barrett reported for the record that Councilman Norris had asked that a letter be sent to the Belmont County Water District requesting a meeting of the C�ty Council with the Board to discuss whether any potential exists for annexation - w�th that District and also that a meeting be set within the p � District for cons�deration of the issuance of bonds. d D�scussion followed and 7t was determ�ned that a meet�ng of the Council as the Board of Directors of GID No. 1-64 would take place at 7 30 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 1978 within the District at a location to be announced. City Attorney - Schricker recorronended that special notice of the meeting be advertised. (memo 5/9/78) MOTION Counctlman Biaqi moved, seconded bv Councilman Rhodes, that �layor Barrett write the Belmont County Water District to request a meeting with the District and the City Council before May 18, 1978 for the purpose of discussing whether any ` potential exists for annexation to that District. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
