None <br /> Off�cials and staff present: City Manager Fales, Assistant City <br /> Manager Smith, Director of Finance Ference, City Clerk Hildebrand <br /> and Parks and Recreation Director Weeks, City Librarian Vollmayer, <br /> Chief Building Official Gyselbrecht, Personnel Director Brock, <br /> Buildings and Transportation Director Balsamo, Police Chief Bold, <br /> Fire Chief Keller <br /> HUMAN SERVICES (pp. 49-53) ' <br /> Mayor Barrett announced that the public hearing on the expend�ture ' <br /> of Revenue Sharing funds will be held at 9.00 a m., Saturday, May 20, <br /> 1978 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers and observed that the <br /> sub�ect presently being considered by Council is the Human Services <br /> Program of the recommended Annual Budget 1978-79, much of which is <br /> expected to be financed by Revenue Sharing funds <br /> TRAINING FOR PUBLIC SERVICE (p. 50) <br /> City Manager Fales advised that the program is being phased out <br /> due entirely to economic reasons with the exception of one trainee <br /> position where the incumbent is completing his training <br /> HUMAN SERVICES ASSISTANCE (pp. 50-51) <br /> Mayor Barrett described the format used for making recommendations <br /> for services to be included �n the budget, noting tfiat the Housing <br /> � and Human Concerns Coimm ttee made recottanendations to the City <br /> Manager and to the City Council. <br /> 4 City Manager Fales advised that the required Manager's public <br /> � hearing on Revenue Sharing funds was held April 19,�1978 and <br /> requests were made at that time.
