Mr. Premeau said that the <br /> butlding permit was granted the day before present density standards <br /> of the Zoning Ordinance went into effect. He advised that construc- <br /> tion could not be commenced within the 120-day period because of <br /> difficulty obtaining financing and heavy rain <br /> ' ' In response to question, Chief Building Official Gyselbrecht ad- <br /> vised that the bu�lding permit issued to Mr Premeau under the <br /> former density standards expired because of insufficient work being <br /> done on the property within the 120-day period, and the permit was <br /> not renewable because of the new conditions. Mr. Gyselbrecht stated <br /> that if the Zoning Ordinance had not been amended, the permit would <br /> have been renewable at a one-half fee. <br /> Mayor Leipzig invited anyone else present who wished to speak to <br /> do so. No one wished to speak <br /> MOTION: Councilman Vega moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to <br /> close the public hearing. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
