Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Councilnan Vega, to <br /> accept the recommendation of the City Manager contained in his re- <br /> port of March 24, 1978 to take no action with respect to the pro- <br /> a posed annexation of approximately 93 acres of land on Upland Road. <br /> Mr Schricker stated that LAFCO had the obligation to rev�ew the <br /> appilcation for the sub,7ect proposed annexation and was apprised <br /> of the City's policy, but approved the applicat�on in spite of that <br /> policy He advised that if no action is taken, Counc�l will be <br /> waiving legal right to challenge whatever the Board of Superv�sors <br /> may do, noting that it �s his obligation to point that out to <br /> Council - <br /> Discussion followed and City Manager Fales commented concerning <br /> whether or not anything is to be gained by initiating proceedings <br /> for annexation. <br /> The motion carried on the following roll call vote <br /> Ayes Councilmen Barrett, Vega and P1ayor Leipzig -- <br /> Noes.
