' <br /> (MINUTE ORDER N0. 76-114) <br /> (Counc�lman Rhodes returned to his cha�r at 11 24 p m.) <br /> Presentation of Proposed Annual Budget 1976-1977 <br /> City Manager Fales presented the proposed Annual Budget for 1976- <br /> 1977 in accordance with the provistons of Section 51 of the City <br /> Charter Mr. Fales called attention to the two-part Budget, noting <br /> that one part is the recommended Budget itself and the other repre- <br /> sents the,proposed alternatives. Mr. Fales stated that the two <br /> parts should be considered together and recommended that the publ�c <br /> hearing on the Budget be set for the regular meeting of June 21, 1976 <br /> MOTION Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, <br /> that the public hearin9 on the Annual Budget for 1976-1977 be set <br /> for the regular City Council,meeting on Monday, June 21, 1976. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO 76-115) <br /> Mayor Leipzig noted that the first Budget Study Session will be <br /> , held on Saturday, May 8, 1976 at the Board of Superv�sors Chambers <br /> Mr Fales advised that copies of the Budget are on file in the City <br /> Clerk's Office for inspection by the public as required by the <br /> Charter and that several add`ttional copies are also available for <br /> inspection at the Main Library, and at Schaberg Branch Library and <br /> Fair Oaks Branch Library <br /> _� � <br /> Award of Bid - Palm Park, Phase I <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of April 29, 1976 regard- <br /> ing the sub�ect award of bid and attaching report from the Director <br /> of Publ�c Works dated Apri1�29 also Mr Fales recommended that <br /> the contract for the pro�ect be awarded to Davey Tree Surgery Co > <br /> Livermore, on the basis of their low total bid of $25,587. <br /> MOTION T�tle having been read, Councilman Norris introduced the <br /> following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, its <br /> adoption <br /> RESOLUTION NO 7589 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE LANDSCAPE <br /> CONSTRUCTION AND PLANTING OF P,ALM PARK (PHASE I), REJECTING <br /> ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br /> ' FOR SAID WORK, AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> , _�_ . <br /> � Reg Mtg <br /> 5/3/76 <br />
