Mr.
Fales stated that a recommendation is being prepared regarding
 police vehicles.
In response to question, Mr. Fales advised that no City cars may be
used for private business, but it is useful to the City to have some
cars taken home because of the particular employee's responsibilities.
He remarked that if ali the cars were kept at Cty Hali overnight,
additional parking spaces would have to be provided for the private
cars of those who must use City cars in their work.
Account No. 465 was approved as submitted.
Buildings and Transportation - AccountNo. 790 (pp. 44-45)
' Mr. Fales advised that the subect account is only included in the
Budget because it is expected the full transfer of the transit sys-
tem to the San Mateo County Transit District will not take place
until October.
