Mr. <br /> Fales stated that a recommendation is being prepared regarding <br /> � police vehicles. <br /> In response to question, Mr. Fales advised that no City cars may be <br /> used for private business, but it is useful to the City to have some <br /> cars taken home because of the particular employee's responsibilities. <br /> He remarked that if ali the cars were kept at C�ty Hali overnight, <br /> additional parking spaces would have to be provided for the private <br /> cars of those who must use City cars in their work. <br /> Account No. 465 was approved as submitted. <br /> Buildings and Transportation - Account�No. 790 (pp. 44-45) <br /> ' Mr. Fales advised that the sub�ect account is only included in the <br /> Budget because it is expected the full transfer of the transit sys- <br /> tem to the San Mateo County Transit District will not take place <br /> until October.
