The Invocation was led by the Reverend Jack Swanson of the Woodsi_de � Road United Methodist Church "' Roll Call Councilmen present Barrett, Biagi, Bury, Norris, Rhodes and - Mayor Leipzig Councilmen absent None Officials and staff present City Manager Fales, City Attorney Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Clerk Hildebrand and Director of Public Works Pusich, Plann7ng Director Schroeter, Parks and Recreation Director Weeks, Chief Building Official Gyselbrecht, Director of Buildings and Transportation Balsamo, Police Chief Bold � Approval of Minutes � , MOTION Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to approve the mtnutes of the Budget Study Session of May 22, 1976, the City Council Meeting of May 24, 1976 and the Budget Study Session of May 25, 1976 as submitted with the following correction to the May 25 Minutes on page 5, preceding the motion relating to the appointment to City Council, add , "Mayor Leipzig declared that Council was prepared to vote on the appointment to fill the existing vacancy on the City Council and requested Council members to proceed to do so The result of vote was � ' Fernando Vega -�4 John J Brophy - 2" The motion carried unanimously by voice vote Public Hearing - Pro osed Historic Landmarks Element � of the General Plan continued from 5/3 and 5/17/76) Mayor Leipzig observed that the sub,7ect public hearing was declared open on May 17 and remains open Reg Mtg 6/7/76
