Regular Meeting The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 7 30 p m with Vice Mayor Barrett presiding The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Biagi The Invocation was led by Rabbi David Teitelbaum, Temple Beth Jacob. Roll Call Councilmen present Biagi, B'ury, Norris, Rhodes, Vega and Vice Mayor Barrett Councilmen absent Mayor Leipzig Officials and staff present City Manager Fales, City Attorney Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Clerk Hildebrand and Director of Public Works Pusich, Parks and Recreation Director Weeks, Planner III Schoenfeld, Director of Buildings and Transportation , Balsamo, Police Chief.Bold Approval of Minutes - June 28, 1976 MOTION• Councilman Vega moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to approve the City Council Minutes for the meeting of June 28, 1976 as submitted The motion carried unanirtrously by voice vote. Administration of Oath of Office to Members of the Planning Commission Vice Mayor Barrett invited the newly appointed and reappointed members of the Plam m �g Commission to step forward, and City Clerk Hildebrand adm�m stered the Oath of Office to Elise Johnson, Ronald J Kathman, William J Price and Guy H Smith j ; Vice Mayor Barrett thanked the Cortunissioners for their willingness to serve the City in the difficult and time-consuming position of I Plam m �g Commissioner and observed that their contribution to the j corronunity is truly appreciated Vice Mayor Barrett also described the process by wM ch Cortom ssion members are selected, observing � ' that the Council is gratified by the response received from many � well qualified citizens � Reg Mtg I 7/12/76 r �^ .-�- -•- ----- - - --- ----__ _ _ __ . .
