Comnents by Council included concerns as to <br /> the volume of material that must be gone through, much of which was <br /> repetitive and was comprised of the pertinent extracts from one to <br /> as many as several sets of Planning Commission minutes, making it <br /> ' dtfficult to get to the heart of the issue. The suggestion of <br /> i util�zing the digest of the conclusions of the�Cortmission, elimi- <br /> nating the dialogue and detail was discussed at length and comrnents <br /> i involved belief of the Coimmssion that it would be inappropriate <br /> to delete testimony from its reports, particularly in the case of <br /> i appeal; the alternative of having such digests prepared by staff, <br /> � the kinds of information that might be included in such a digest, <br /> � such as references in the summary to specified minutes, and a <br /> simple condensation of the ultimate determination of the Commission. � <br /> Planning Director Schroeter expressed some apprehension with regard <br /> � to the sug9estion that staff prepare the digest, citing as an example <br /> Joint Mtg. <br /> w/Planning <br /> 7/19/76 <br /> ,..,.. ------ - - ._ �: <<. _ ._ �.v,� <br />
