256 � <br /> • The resolution was adopted and the motion carried unan�mously <br /> by roll call vote (MINUTE ORDER N0. 76-22) <br /> �The Council recessed from 9 35 to 9 42 p m) <br /> Local Agency Formation Commission - ' <br /> San Mateo County presentation re <br /> Fire Protection Study <br /> City Manager Fales advised that at the request of LAFCO a brief <br /> presentation has been scheduled at this time regarding the Fire <br /> Protection Study for San Mateo County undertaken by that agency <br /> in cooperation with Gage-Babcock & Associates, Inc , fire pro- <br /> tection consultants and engineers <br /> B Sherman Coffman Executive Officer of LAFCO, described the <br /> background leading to publication of the sub,7ect Study, noting <br /> that city managers and fire chiefs in San Mateo County all par- <br /> ticipated in preparing it, particularly commending Fire Ch�ef <br /> Keller for his assistance <br /> David Carr of LAFCO staff, described the structure of the Fire <br /> Protection Study and commented on observations made in the report <br /> relating to Redwood City, c�ting the City's good fire protection <br /> system Mr. Carr also replied to questions and commented con- <br /> cerning details of the report and on certain aspects of fire <br /> protection generally Fire Chief Keller commented concerning <br /> the past and present system for classifying mutual aid calls. <br /> Mayor Weymouth thanked Mr Coffman and those from the LAFCO staff � <br /> for the presentation. <br /> James Avenue Traffic Study <br /> Continued until January 26, 1976 (see above, page 1) <br /> Re ort re status of <br /> Federal Aid Urban FAU) Program <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of January 16, 1976 <br /> attaching report from the Director of Public Works, dated <br /> January 9, regarding the current status of the FAU program Mr <br /> Fales advised that the report is for information and may be con- <br /> sidered background material in relation to the five-year City- <br /> County pro�ect list to be considered as the next item on the <br /> Agenda <br /> Report re Five Year City-County Pro�ect List <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of January 16, 1976 <br /> entitled "Five Year Estimate of Pro,7ects, City-County Highway <br /> Program" and the attachments described in his report Mr Fales � <br /> observed that the list is only preliminary and must be considered <br /> sub�ect to revision during and as a result of the Capital Improve- <br /> ment budget process. <br /> -$- <br /> Reg Mtg <br /> 1/19/76 <br />
