Amendment to Animal Control Agreement City Manager Fales referred to his report of July 20, 1976 regarding ' the closing of the Redwood City Animal Shelter and attaching letter from John B. Davis, General Manager of the Peninsula Humane Society, advis�ng that the facility is being closed effective August 1, 1976. It was poTnted out that the closing of the Redwood City Sbelter is expected to create an improved situat�on for the animals involved, both with regard to care and to increased likelihood of their being adopted. RESOLUTION N0. 7651 APPROVING AND Al1THORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO ` WITH THE PENINSULA HUMANE SOCIETY RELATING TO ANIMAL SHELTER , The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote. — ^s Report re San Carlos Airport `�� '� ,� City Manager Fales referred to his report of July 23, 1976 regarding the proposed expansion of San Carlos Airport and attaching a plan in- dicating the existing configuration of the San Carlos Airport (Appendix C) and a plan indicating the proposed southerly expansion of the San Carlos A�rport runway (Appendix D) Mr. Fales advised that the City Council of San Carlos is also considering at this time the same 12- point proposal contained in his report, stating that if the proposal is acceptable to both cities, it will be presented to the Board of Supervisors and the Airport Land Use Committee as the fram�ork for a solut�on to the probiem of expansion of the exist�ng runway at the ' San Carlos Airport. !
