Essentially, this means that
air charts prepared by the FAA will indicate a 3,400 foot
runway
2. The total and ultimate length of the paved surface of the
single San Carlos Airport man runway, Runway 12/30, will
be 3,400 feet. Width will be 75 feet
3. The approach slope at the north end of the runway will be
20 feet hortzontal to one foot vertical (20 1), the approach
slope at the southern end will be 341 In each case, the
origin of the approach slope will be 200 feet from the end
of the runway pavement
8. None of the existing runway pavement wll be removed from
full aircraft use in both directions landing or departing
9 The existing 1,500 foot by 3,400 foot approach zones at both
ends of the runway will be to+ally and permanently eliminated.
(These approach zones, which were recommended by the San Mateo
County Airport Land Use Committee in their "Interim Airport '
Land Use Plan," adopted by the Regional Planning Committee
on February 2, 1973, will not be required following creation
of permanent and smaller clear zones and adoption of the
recommended Approach Slopes )
-9-
Reg.Mtg
7/26/76
