Striping shall be inclusive of all materials, equipment, and work involved in <br /> completing this item complete in place. <br /> B. Full compensation will be paid for all work involved in removing the vertical <br /> concrete curb as shown on the contract drawings at the contract unit price for <br /> Remove Concrete Vertical Curb. If pavement is damaged as a result of the <br /> concrete vertical curb removal, the contractor shall restore it as necessary, and <br /> no additional compensation will be made. <br /> B. Payment for this item will be made at the contract unit price and no additional <br /> compensation will be made. <br /> BID ITEM 5- CONCRETE INTERLOCKING PAVERS (SIDEWALK) <br /> A. Full compensation will be paid for all work involved in installing the concrete <br /> interlocking pavers at the contract unit price paid for this bid item. Spectrum <br /> Pavers, style 60 mm, with the Redwood City color blend, or approved equal, shall <br /> be used. <br /> B. Individual components or elements of the system will not be measured for <br /> payment, but shall be included in the unit price paid per square foot (SF) of the <br /> concrete interlocking pavers complete in place, and no additional compensation <br /> will be made therefore. Full compensation for this item shall include the <br /> installation of the interlocking paving stones, Sakrete polymeric joint sand, sand <br /> (1" max), and aggregate base, installed per manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> BID ITEM 6- CONCRETE VERTICAL CURB <br /> A. Contractor shall furnish and install the 4'/z' concrete vertical curb as shown on the <br /> plans and as directed by the City Engineer in the field. Unit price paid for <br /> Concrete Vertical Curb shall be inclusive of all materials, tools, equipment, and <br /> work involved in excavation, material disposal, concrete, forms, rebar, and all <br /> other items necessary for the installation of this item as noted on the plans. <br /> B. Full compensation for this work shall be made at the contract unit price paid for <br /> this bid item, complete in place, and no additional compensation will be made <br /> therefore. <br /> BID ITEM 7- NEENAH FOUNDRY TYPE P GRATE TRENCH DRAIN <br /> A. Under this item the contractor shall furnish and install all labor, materials, tools, <br /> equipment, incidentals, and perform all work required for the installation of a <br /> pedestrian rated, perforated trench drain. Neenah Foundry, bolted heavy duty <br /> type "p" grate, or approved equal, shall be used. <br />
