I. Daily site cleanup <br /> J. The work shall include the provision of all materials, equipment and apparatus <br /> not specifically mentioned in the specifications, but which are obviously <br /> necessary to complete the work thereunder. <br /> X. MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT <br /> BID ITEM 7- MOBILIZATION, NOTIFICATIONS, TRAFFIC CONTROL, AND OTHER <br /> INCIDENTALS <br /> A. Full compensation for all mobilization consisting of preparatory work and <br /> operations, including but not limited to, those necessary for the movement of <br /> personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to the project site, traffic control <br /> measures including maintaining all iraffic signs, delineators, and any required <br /> flagging costs as necessary to implement traffic control measures will be <br /> considered as included in the lump sum price paid for Mobilization, Notifications, <br /> Traffic Control, and Other Incidentals. <br /> B. Contractor shall submit a traffic control plan showing detours for pedestrians and <br /> vehicles. Contractor shall provide all necessary signage and barriers; no <br /> additional compensation will be made. <br /> C. Full compensation for notifying businesses in the vicinity, including the placement <br /> of construction notices on barricades and 14-day advance notice door hangers <br /> shall be included in the lump sum price paid for Mobilization, Notifications, Traffic <br /> Control, and Other Incidentals. <br /> D. Payment for this item will be made at the contract lump sum price, limited to no <br /> more than 5% of the total base bid for all schedules of the bid package, and no <br /> additional compensation will be made. <br /> E. Payment will be determined by percentage complete in the project (e.g., 10% <br /> complete, 10% of mobilization, notifications, traffic control, and other incidentals <br /> will be paid). <br /> BID ITEM 2- REMOVE WHEEL STOP <br /> A. Full compensation will be paid for all work involved in removing six (6) wheel stops <br /> at the contract unit price for Remove Wheel Stop. Work shall be inclusive of <br /> removing all concrete, rebar, and conducting any necessary pavement repairs. <br /> B. Payment for this item will be at the contract unit price and no additional <br /> compensation will be made. <br /> BID ITEM 3- REMOVE STRIPING <br /> A. Full compensation will be paid for all work involved in grinding the existing <br /> thermoplastic pavement striping as shown on the contract drawings and as <br /> directed by the City Engineer in the field.
