<br /> RESOLVED, by the Council of the 01ty of Redwood ditq, California, that
<br /> it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public oonvenience and ne-
<br /> oeeeity require, and that it intends to order the following work to be done
<br /> and improvements to be made in and for said City, to-wit:
<br /> 1, The oonetruction of the impronemente on the streets all as particu-
<br /> ' larly deacribed in Exhibit A hereto atiaohed and by reference made a part
<br /> hereof.
<br /> 2, All of said �rork and improvements are to be constructed at the
<br /> places and in the partiaular locations, of the forma, sizee and dimensions
<br /> and materials, and to the lines and grades, and tne elevations, as to be
<br /> shown and delineated upon the plana, profilea and speciYicatione to be
<br /> made therefor and adopted bq the City Council of eaid Oity,
<br /> 3, $aid oontemplated work and improvement, in the opinion of esid
<br /> Citq Council, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit, and said
<br /> ' Council does herebp make the cost and expenses of doing euoh work and
<br /> improvement chargeable upon a dietrict which dlatrict said Citq Council
<br /> declares to be trie diatriet benefited by said work and improvement and to
<br /> be aseesaed to pay the oost and eapenaes thereoP, and which said asaesament
<br /> dletriot, and the exteribr "boundaries thereof are rnore particularly describ-
<br /> ed in Pxhibit B hereto attached and by reference made a part hereof.
<br /> 4, Notice ie iiereby given that aerial bonde to represent the unpaid
<br /> assesements and bear interest at the rate of not to exceed five per cent
<br /> (5�) per annwn, will be issued pursuant to Article 1, Section 3 and $eotion
<br /> 5 of Ordinanoe Bio. 333 of said City, commonly kno�rs and deeignated °Redwood
<br /> City Improvement Procedure Ordinance° adopted March 14, 1932, ae amended,
<br /> trie last installment of which bonds ahall mature•nine (9) yeara from the
<br /> • second day of Janua,ry next succeeding October fifteenth following their date.
<br /> 5, Except as herein otherwise provided Por the iseuance of bonds, all
<br /> of the above proposed work shall be done in pureuance of the provisions of
<br /> Article 1 of eaid Redwood City Improvement Procedure Oode.
<br /> 6. Notioe is nereby given that Monday, the 7tn day of Janua.ry, 1946,
<br /> at the hour of elgnt o'clock P,M. at tne Council Ohambers of the City Coun-
<br /> cil of said Citq in the City Hall of said City are hereby fixed as the time
<br /> and place when and where any and all pereons interested may appear and ehow
<br /> oause, 1Y any they hane, why the city counoil ehould not find and determine
<br /> tnat the public oonvenience and neceeeity require the lmprovements de-
<br /> soribed and referred to in this resolution, without further compliance with
<br /> the Speaial Asaesament Inveetigation, Limita,tion and Majority Protest
<br /> Aot, of 1931.
<br /> ' 7, The City Clerk snall gine notice of the adoption of thie reeolution
<br /> oy publiehing a Notice of Pro�osed Local Improvement once in the Redwood
<br /> Tribune, a daily newepaper publiehed and circulated in said city, and by
<br /> posting eame on or near the Council Chamber door of said Councll, eaid
<br /> poeting and publication to be had at least ten days before said date of
<br /> hearing.
