A�icNulty and Carl Brltsch�i, recommended that the City of Redv�ood Cit,y accent from the County of 3an R4ateo_ �1200.for the sale of Lots 11-12��: Block � and Lot 10, Block 9, D?e�� High School Acres. The County of Sfln �4ateo submitted a check in the sum of �114�+.z0 for, the sale of this lot �vhich vaas the city�s share after deducti_ng county ta.xes. ' The delinquent taxes, �veed abatement and bond assessments under "Act of 1915" amount to $�3120.0�, a.nd the City Collector requested that bond asGessments in the amount of �$1975.�� be cancelled. Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Britachgi, that the Council authorize the c ancellation of bond. assessments in ex_ceas of the city's equity and accept the ni°o rat2. from the " county. P:4artin of the Redvrood City Bus Line appeared before the Council advisin� that he was submitting to the Railroad Commission_an application for a new bus route.vvhich would rur through Redwood City, T�4enlo Park, Atherton a.nd. into Palo Alto. The hearing comes up before the Ra.ilroad Commission on June 2�, 1945, and he asked that the City of Redv�ood City support his aaplica.tion by , sending a repre�entative to the hearing. Councilman Armstron� asked if the new route i�rould curtail the present service to Red�vood City. P,�r. �4artin out- lined the nev� route and advised that it would curtail no service now rendered to Redia�ood Gity but would be an addition to tha.t already given and that he ' iv�s expecting delivery of three new buses at the end of the month, rdr. Ta?artin advised that he vras having some dif°iculty with the Palo Alto Bus Line in regard to the proposed route throu� Menlo Park but tha.t the Pacific Greyhound �va.s in favor of the new achedule. � \
