Councilman Armstron� moved, seconded by Coui�cilman Anderson, that affidavits of public notice oi acceptin�,bi�s be iiled. P�[otion passed unanimously. City Attorney MeCarthy advised he had prenared resolutions awarding t'.ze bids on each unit. Councilma.n Anderson asked.if the present bonds � would atand during the entire work to which City Attorney MeCarthy re- plied tha.t they would atand only until the contractor executed_the con- tract to do the work at which time two new bonde would be required, one for 50 per cent of the contract prlce for Paithf'ul performA,nce oP the contract and the other for 50 per cent of the contract price of labor and matez'.ie.ls. There follorred anoth er discua sion in regard to the type of bond. sub- O mitted by Mr. Weber and City Attorney I�IcCarthy advised that before b4r. Weber�s bid was accepted it would be checked to see that affidavits are correct as to tl.ie etatement of worth. Mr. Sorenaen again strenuously ob� ected to the type of bond. The motion was seconded by Councilman Britschgi. Reaolution was unaninously adopted on roll call.
