Councilman Britschgi moved <br /> introduction of ordinance providing or rat proffing of.now houaes and addi- <br /> tions to hovses 1n Redwood �City. The motion was seconded by �ouncilman <br /> Fletcher. Under:the question, thore was considerable discussion t:y the Council <br /> most of them b8�ing of the opinion that they did not wish to vote on it at the <br /> present time. CounclIman Britschgi withdrew his motion with the conaent of <br /> ' ' the second a� asked that it be plaeed on the agenda of the ne:ct meeting. <br /> City Manager Mead edvised thet the Oleson used car lot now complied with the <br /> ordinance. Councilman Anderson movod the permit be granted, aeconded by <br /> ,, Councilman McNultg. Motion passed unanimousl,�. <br /> City �ttorney McCarthy advised that the Planning Conanission wes going to:ask the <br /> Council to meet with them to consider the whola area neer Pine arti Lathrop <br /> Streets so that spot soning would be avoided. Councilman Grar�er movad, <br /> • aeconded by Councilmen Anderson, that the matter of rezoriing proparty at Pine <br /> and Il;athrop be placed on the agenda. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Cit9 Attorney PdeCarthy advised that Mr. Weiner had agreed to remove fence on prop- <br /> erty on �D Street and that it viould be down and probably moved eway by the <br /> next meeting.. Mead advised he had diseusaed iaith County Engineer arant the matter of <br /> Count.y aid in regard to drainage at Weetgate, Brewster��and Hillview. City <br /> Clerk Dodge read letter received from Mr. arant in which he stated the county <br /> had no obligation in the matter. Councilmr�n Britechgi moved the matter be <br /> placed on the agenda for the next meeting, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br /> , Under the question, Councilman MeNulty aekefl iP the Council could not go in a <br /> � bodq to look over the condition. Councilman Andereon suggested that the Council <br /> meet at 7:00 o'cloc k the night of the Planning Commiasion meeting on Auguat 14th <br /> anfl look over the drainage condition and then meet the Planning Commieeion at <br /> 8:00 o'cloek and inepect the area at Pine and Lathrop 8treet.
