<br /> ' DETERMINING TO MAKE IMPROVEMENT Y�ITHOUT COMPLICANCE WITH INVE3TIGATION

<br /> RESOLVED, by the Council of the Oity of Redwood City,-California, that
<br /> WHEREAS, on �arch 18, 1946, this Council adopted its:�Resolution of
<br /> ' Preliminary Determination No. 289 to construct certain public improvemente
<br /> more particularly therein described, and did fix therein the date of April
<br /> lst, 1946 as the time when and the Council Chambers, City Hall, Redwood City,
<br /> ae the place where, any and a11 persona interested may appear and show cause,
<br /> if any they have, why the City ¢ouncil ehould not find and determine that the
<br /> Public convenience and neceesity require the improvementa described and
<br /> referred to in said reaolution, witnout compliance with the Special Assess-
<br /> ment Inveatigation, Limitation and �ajority Protest Act of 1931; and
<br /> WHEREA9, notice of the adoption of said Resolution of Preliminary
<br /> Determination and of the time and place of hearing was given by the City
<br /> � Clerk by publication and posting for the time and in the manner provided
<br /> in said resolution of preliminary deterrnination and Ordinance No. 515 of eaid
<br /> City, as appears from affidavits on file with the City Clerk; and
<br /> WHEREA3, written objection to the undertaking of said proceedings
<br /> without first complying with the provisions of said Inneatigation Act nave
<br /> been filed with the City Clerk at or before the time fixed for this hearing
<br /> by persons intereated, owning or having an interest in real property within
<br /> the proposed assesement distribt, bearing their eignatures, a description of
<br /> tneir property, and a statement of the nature of their interest therein; and
<br /> WHEREA3, all persons interested have been given an opportunity to be
<br /> and were fully neard, and eaid council has duly coneidered any and all .
<br /> ' oojections and protests made, and the said proposed improvements, and the -
<br /> public convenience and necessity .for making seme, �
<br /> NOYY, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED, as follows:
<br /> 1. That the public convenience and necessity require the improvements
<br /> described in eaid Resolution of Preliminary Determination No. 289,
<br /> 2. That any`and all objections and protests made pureuant to said
<br /> resolution of preliminary determination be and tue same are riereby overruled
<br /> and denied. -
<br /> 3. That the improvements described in said resolution be made under
<br /> and pursuant to the provisions of the Redwood City Ordinance No. 333 and that
<br /> the 8pecial Aasessarent Investigation, Limitation and �3ajority Protest Act
<br /> • of 1931 ahall not apply to said proceedings,
<br /> I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolution adopted
<br /> by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, California, at a regular
<br /> meeting thereof held on the 15th day of Apiil, 1940, by the following vote
