HILTON <br /> Mayor of the City of Redwood City � <br /> Councilman Fletcher offered resolution and moved ite adoption adjourning <br /> meeting out of respect to memory of Judge Maxwell McNutt, Judge in <br /> the Superior Oourt of San Mateo County. <br /> R E S 0 L U T I 0 N No. 263 <br /> VPHEREA9 the Honorable Maxwell McNutt has been called from an aotive O <br /> and illustrious career as a judge of our Superior Court, and by hia <br /> untimely deatn the 8tate of California and this oommunity have lost the <br /> publio services of an outstanding �udicial oYficer; <br /> RESOLVTD that this Council of the City of Redwood C1tq does hereby <br /> deplore the.loss euetained by the people in the death of Judge AicNutt; <br /> that we r.ecord here an appreciation of the great benefits which the <br /> people of thie county have had through the activitiee of Judge MeNutt <br /> in presiding vcith such conepicuoue ability over one of the depaatmente <br /> of our Superior Court for twelve years and th�,t we attest his sterling <br /> independent cuaracter, his exceptional ability, and his wisdom in the <br /> administration of justice. <br /> FURTHER RESOLVEA that this Council adjourn out of respect for tne � <br /> memory of eaid Maxwell McNutt and tnat copies of the Resolution, duly <br /> attested by the Clerk of this City be forwarded to his widow and his <br /> son. � <br /> The above and foregoing resolution was paesed and adopted by the <br /> Qouncil of the City of Redrvood City at a regular meeting thereof held <br /> on the 'Ttn day of January, 1946, by the following vote: <br /> AYEB and in favor of the paseage and adoption of tne foregoia� <br /> resolution: <br /> Councilmen: ANDERSON, ARMSTRON, BRITSCAGI, FLETCHER, GRANG�R, <br /> MCNULTY and HILTON. <br /> NOES and against the paseage and adoption of the foregoing � <br /> reaolution: Councilmen: NONE <br /> :ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE <br /> W.
