<br /> Collector N. L. Miramontee, Street Superintendent H, L. Winter.
<br /> Approval of minutes of previous meeting were approved ae me,iled on motion of
<br /> , Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Anderson, Motion passed
<br /> unanimouely.
<br /> Application for dance permit wa,s recieved from Yvonne Schlichtmann for dancee .
<br /> to be conducted Wedneadaye, January 26th and February 2nd, until 12:00
<br /> midnight, Councilman Gletcher moved, seconded by Oouncilman Andereon, that
<br /> permit be granted. Motion passed unanimously.
<br /> � Appllcation for dance permit wae recieved from Oourt Madrone No. 158, F. oY A„ .
<br /> for dances to be conducted Saturdays, January 26th and February 2nd, until
<br /> 12:00 midnight, Councilman P'letcher moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson,
<br /> that permit be granted, Motion paseed unanimously.
<br /> Communication was rceived from Mr, and Mre. Frank C Fabry eapressing appreciation
<br /> of tne Council's action in adjourning ite last meeting in reepect to the
<br /> memory of their son, Charles H. Fabry. Communication was ordered filed.
<br /> ' Communication was received from Mr. Ralph A. Benaon, president of the Redwood City
<br /> Ministerial Aesociation, requesting that tne Orose be lighted at the Easter
<br /> Bowl during Holy Week. Diecuseion of this communication was held over until
<br /> later in the meeting,
<br /> � Communication wae received from the Land Development Company regarding request
<br /> for permisaion to crose Chestnut Street and Bay Road with a drill track,
<br /> City Mznager Blom advised that Mr. Ludwig Werder had requeeted tnat action
<br /> • be deferred in this matter Lmtil the firat meeting in February, He etated
<br /> ne would like to have an opportunity to diecues the matter with the Council
<br /> or with a committee of the Council before that time in order to go into'the
<br /> matter in detail, The Mayor announced that he would appoint a committee to
<br /> meet with Mr. Werder,
<br /> ' Application for restaurant license was received from D. Joe Lane to conduct a
<br /> reetaurant at 2015 E1 Camino Real. Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded
<br /> by Oouncilman Andereon, tnat permit be grantedenb�ect to approval of the
<br /> health authorities, Motion passed unanimously.
<br /> ' Oommunication was received from Clara B, Dille, County Librarian, aeking for
<br /> loading zone at the County Library. Councilman Andereon moved, seconded
<br /> by Councilman McNulty, that the aommunication be referred to the Traffic
<br /> 8tudy Committee. Motion passed unanimously,
<br /> Report was received from the Hospital Committee signed by Mrs. Henry Heeger as
<br /> chainnan, recommending that the City Council ofYicially eponeor the creation
<br /> • of a hospital dietrict to serve ti�e needs of the vicinity. Tne members
