There was some discussion in : ��� <br /> • regard to the wording of the motion and Councilman Armstrong reu�orded his <br /> motion as follov�s, seconded by Councilman 3ritschgi, offered for_adoption <br /> resolution authorizing the City Attorney_to institute the necessary condem- <br /> nation proceedings in regard to the property outlined by tne City Manager. <br /> On roll call, resolution �vas unanimously adopted. <br /> ' R E S 0 L U T I 0 N No. 334 <br /> AUTHORIZING GONDEPLNATIO?d OF LAVDS IN FEE FOR S�WAGE�TREATb:ENT AND DIS- <br /> POSAL PLANT AidD ANIr?AL SHELTER <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redi^:ood City that it <br /> fi�s and determines and hereby declares_ <br /> , That public interest and necessity require the acquiaition, construc- <br /> tion, and completion by the City of Redwood City of a public improvement,. <br /> namely, a se�vage treatment and disposal plant and animal shelter in that <br /> certain property hereinafter in this resolution described; <br /> That the use of all of said land for said sewage treatment and disposal <br /> plant and animal shelter are planned and located in a manner which will be <br /> most compatible rJith the greatest public good and the least private injury; <br /> j` <br /> FURTHER RE30LVED that the City Manager of this City be and he is here- <br /> by authorized and empowered: <br /> � -t , <br /> To acquire in fee, in the name of this City, the real property herein- <br /> " after described, by condemnation, in accordance with the provisions of the <br /> Code of Civi1 Frocedure o�' the State.of California relating to eminent <br /> domain; <br /> To prepare and prosecute, in the name of this City, such suit in the <br /> proper Court having jurisdiction therein as is neceasary to condemn such <br /> lands in fee for such use; <br /> To make application to said Court for an order fixing the amount of <br /> such security in the yvay of money deposits as said Court may direct to be <br /> made upon the taking of possession of said property by this city, and Por <br /> ' an order permitting this City to take immediate possession and use of said <br /> property; <br /> To make deposit of such security out of proper funds of said City in <br /> subh:amount so fixed ard determined and in such manner as said Court in <br /> which the condemnation proceeding nereby authorized ia pending may direct. <br /> The rea,l property hereinabove referred to is situa.ted in the City of <br /> Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California and particularly <br /> described as follows: <br /> PARCEL 1 <br /> BEGIND?ING at the most easterly corner of Bteinberger Street as ' <br /> shovan on the official Ciap of Redr;ood City as prepared by C.
