<br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 1946-1
<br /> RESOLUTION OF PRELIt3INARY APPR04AL OF ENGINEER'3 REPORT.
<br /> ' RE30LVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, that;
<br /> 4YHEREA3,�on the 1'7th day of June, 1946, eaid Counoil did adopt its Reeo-
<br /> lution of Intention No:�1946-1 to construct certain public improveraente in
<br /> ' Hudson Street between Jefferaon Avenue and Floodsicie Road, a drainage struc-
<br /> ture in a portion of Hudson Street and adjacent property, and improvemente
<br /> in Grand 8treet between Vera Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue and in Lincoln Ave-
<br /> nue between Fulton 3treet and Hudson Street within said City arid refer the
<br /> proposed improvemente to Edwin H. 3mith, a competent Engineer employed by
<br /> ' eald City for that purpose, and did therein direct said Engineer to make and
<br /> file with the City Clerk of said City a report .in writing, all ae therein
<br /> more particularly described, under and pursuant to the Municipal Improvement
<br /> Act of 1913, as amended; and
<br /> WHEREA9, said Engineer hae made and filed with said'City Clerk of said
<br /> City a report in writing ae called for in eaid Resolution oY Intention and
<br /> under and pursuant to said Act, which report has been approved b,y Don S,
<br /> Wilson ae Qity Engineer of thie City and presented to thie Council Yor oon-
<br /> sideration; and .
<br /> • IWHEREA3, sald Council has duly considered said report and each and every
<br /> part thereof is:sufficietn, and that neither eaid report nor any part there-
<br /> oY requires modification or ehould be modified in any respect;
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT I9 ORDERED as follows:
<br /> 1. That the Plana and 9pecifications Yor the proposed improvements to
<br /> be made ae contained in said report be and they e.re approved and conPirmed.
<br /> 2. That the Engineer's estimate of the itemized and total estimated
<br /> costs and expensea of said impronements and of the incidental expenses in
<br /> connection therewith ae contained in said report be and it is hereby approved
<br /> and confirmed;
<br /> 3. That the diagraan ahowing the assesament dietriot referred to and
<br /> described in sr�.id Resolution of Intention, and also the�boundaries and di-
<br /> mensions of the respective eubdivisions of land within eaid City as the
<br /> '. same exiated at the time of the passage of said Resolution of Intention,
<br /> each oY which subdivieiona has been given a separate number in red ink upon
<br /> said diagram, as contained in said report, be and it is hereby approved and
<br /> confirmed;
<br /> • 4. That the proposed assessment of the total amount of costs and
<br /> expenses of the proposed improvements upon the several eubdivisione of land
<br /> in said assessment district in proportion to the estimated benefite to tie
<br /> received by such subdivisions, respectively, from the work and improvementa
<br /> to tie done and theexpensea incidente.l thereto, as contained in said report,
<br /> be and they are hereby approved and confii^.ried;
<br /> 5. That said report in its entirety be and it is hereby approved and
<br /> confirmed;
<br /> 6. That said report ehall etand as the Engineer's Report for the
<br /> purposee of all subsequent proceedinge had pursuant to eaid Reeolution o4
<br /> • Intention.
<br /> The abone and foregoing Resolution wae passed and adopted by the City
<br /> Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on
<br /> the 17th day of June, 1940, by the following.vote:
<br /> AYES, and in favor of the Aaesage and adoption of the foregoing
<br /> Reaolution:
