<br /> and in accordance with, said Resolution of Intention No. 1946-1 on file
<br /> in the office of the City Clerk of said Council, reference to.which ie
<br /> hereby made for a more particular description of said improvemente, and
<br /> also for further particulars puraua.nt to the provisions of said Munici-
<br /> pal Improvement Act of 1913, as amended. :; '
<br /> 6. That the diagram showing the assesement district referred to
<br /> and described in said Resolution of Intention, and also the boundaries
<br /> and dimensions of.the reapective subdivisiona of land with said dietrict
<br /> as the same existed at the time of the passage of said Reeolution of
<br /> Intention, each of which subdivieions having been given a separate number
<br /> upon eaid diagram, as contained in said report, be and it is hereby Pin-
<br /> ally approved and confirmed ae the diagram of the properties to be asses-
<br /> sed to �ay the coste and ex penses oY said improvements,
<br /> 7, That the asseesment of the total amount of the coets and ex- �
<br /> penses of the proposed improvements upon the several subdivisione of land
<br /> in said district inproportion to the.estimated benefita to be received by
<br /> eaid subdivisions, respectively, from said improvements to be done, and
<br /> of the expenses incldental thereto, contained in said report, be and the
<br /> same ia hereby finally approved and confirmed as the asseaement to pa.y
<br /> the costs and expenaes of said improvements. '
<br /> 8. That said Engineer's report be and the same is hereby finally
<br /> adopted and approved as a whole.
<br /> � 9. That the Clerk ahall forthwith deliver to the Superintendent of
<br /> Streets of the City the said assessment, together with said diagram there-
<br /> to attached and made a�part thereof, ae confirmed by this Council, with
<br /> his certificate of such confirmation thereto attached and of the date '
<br /> thereof; and that said Superintendent of 8treets shall forthwith record
<br /> said diagram and asaessment in his office in a suitable book to be kept
<br /> for that purpose, and append thereto his certificate of the date:of such ,
<br /> recordin�, and such recordation shall be and constitute the asBesement
<br /> roll herein.
<br /> 10. That said Superintendent of Streets, upon the recording of said
<br /> diagram and assessment, shall mail to each owner of real property within
<br /> the asaeaement district at hie last known address as the same appeare on
<br /> the tax rolls of the County, or on file in the office of the City Clerk
<br /> of eaid City, or to both addresses, if said address ia not the same, or
<br /> � to the general delivery when no addrese eo appears, a etatement contain-
<br /> ing a designation by street number or other description of the property
<br /> assessed sufficient to enable the owner to identify the same, the amount •
<br /> � of the assessment, the date of the recordation of said�assesement, the
<br /> , time and place of payment thereof, the effect of failure to pay within
<br /> such time, and a atatement of the fact that bonds will be issued on un-
<br /> paid aesessments pursua.nt to the Improvement Hond Act of 1911 the last
<br /> installment of which bonde ehall mature nine (9) years after the second
<br /> day of Janua.ry following their date:
<br /> 11. That said Superintendent of Streets shall also give notice by
<br /> publishing a copy of a Notice to Pay Assessments by three (3} succeseive
<br /> insertione in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper '
<br /> published in the City of Redwood City, that eaid aesessment has been re-
<br /> corded in his office.,�and that all s�s assessed thereon are due and pay-
<br /> able immediately and that the payment of said s�nne is to be made to him
<br /> within sixty (60� days after the date•of recording said assesement,
<br /> vuhich date shall be stated in eaid notice, and of the fact that bonds will
<br /> be issued upon unpaid assesemente as above provided,
<br /> The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
<br /> City Council of the City of Redwood Citq at a regular adjourned meeting '
<br /> thereof held on the 18th day of July, 1946, by the following vote:
