City Clerk Dodge advised there were no written protests. The <br /> Mayor asked for verbal protests. Mr. R. D. Freden, 248 Park 3treet, ad- <br /> • dreseed the Oouncil in regard to the eize of water pipe which wae to be <br /> put in this dietrict. City Manager Blom etated that 4" pipe was to be in- <br /> etalled in this dietrict before the paning wae done. In some parts of the <br /> district, 6° pipe is being installed. It was the opinion of City Manager , <br /> B1om that the combination of 6" and 4" in this district would be suffici- <br /> ent for all time. There were two other protestants to the eize of the <br /> pipe. Upon the City Manager�s etatement that the pipe as planned would be <br /> ' adequate, Councilman Armstrong offered motion to Yile affidavits of publi- <br /> cation and poating, seconded by Councilman 1Nerder, Motion passed unanimously. <br /> City Attorney McCarthy presented resolution overruling protests and ad- <br /> vised that trie resolution would show no protests, the only question having <br /> been raised was the adequacy of the water pipe. Councilman Armstrong <br /> moved, seconded by Councilman VPerder, resolution overruling protesta to <br /> work to be done in Redwood Villa Park.
