There wae some discuesion ae to the date <br /> on which bids ehould be received and, due to tne fact that the Council will be <br /> in San Diego at tne League of California Cities' Convention at the next regular <br /> meeting date, Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman Werder, that <br /> when this meeting was adjourned it be ad�ourned to Monday, 8eptember 23. <br /> Motion passed unanimously, <br /> City 1�anager Blom euggeeted that bids not be aeked�for until next spring inae- • <br /> much ae rie did not believe it would oe possible to get the work done before the <br /> rainy seseon began and also he did not believe contraotors would be willing to <br /> bid now on a projeot that was not to be done until spring.
