<br /> 2. That any and all objections and protests made pursuant to said Resolu-
<br /> tion of Preliminary Determination be and the same are nereby overruled and
<br /> denied, except ae to the moat Southwesterly Block of Park 3treet.
<br /> 3. 'That the improvementa described in said Resolution be made,�under and
<br /> pureuant to the provieiona of Redwood Oity Ordinance No: 333, and that the '

<br /> City Attorney McOarthy presented reeolution ordering work done in Redwood Villa Park '
<br /> which provided for calling for bids. There wae some discuesion ae to the date
<br /> on which bids ehould be received and, due to tne fact that the Council will be
<br /> in San Diego at tne League of California Cities' Convention at the next regular
<br /> meeting date, Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman Werder, that
<br /> when this meeting was adjourned it be ad�ourned to Monday, 8eptember 23.
<br /> Motion passed unanimously,
<br /> City 1�anager Blom euggeeted that bids not be aeked�for until next spring inae- •
<br /> much ae rie did not believe it would oe possible to get the work done before the
<br /> rainy seseon began and also he did not believe contraotors would be willing to
<br /> bid now on a projeot that was not to be done until spring. After some diecus- °
<br /> sion, it was decided not to call Yor bids at thia time and Councilman Arrastrong , '
<br /> moved, seconded by Councilman S�vift, that action be postponed coneiderin�-the��
<br /> adoption of resolution ordering work done in Reduvood Villa Park, secondrmeeting �' -
<br /> in January. Motion pasaed unanimously. � _
<br /> Councilman P�erder moved, seconded by Councilman Armetrong, filing of affidavit of _
<br /> publlcation of resolution of intention to order changes in the engineer�s report
<br /> and order confirrning asaessment under Resolution of Intention No. 1946-1. '
<br /> Motion pasaed unanimously.

<br /> There were no written protests and no one in the audienae proteated. Coun-
