<br /> particulara pursuant to the provisions of said Municipal Improvement Act � �

<br /> 6. That tne diagram snowing the assesement district referred to and

<br /> described in said Resolution of Intention, and also the boundarles and de-
<br /> mensiona of the reepective subdivieions of land within said district ae '
<br /> the same existed at the time of the paesage of said Resolution of Intention,
<br /> each of which subdivieions having been given a separate number upon eaid
<br /> diagram, ae contained in said report, be and it is hereby finally approved
<br /> and confirmed as the diagram of the properties to be asseaeed to pap the
<br /> aosts and expensee of said improvements.
<br /> 7. Tnat the new�aseeeament of the total amount of the costs and
<br /> expenses of the proposed improvements upon tne several subdivisions of land
<br /> in said dietrict in proportion to the estimated benefits to be received by '
<br /> said subdivisiona, respectively;. from esid improvements to be done, and of
<br /> the exaeneee incidental thereto, contained in said report, be and the eame
<br /> ' is hereby finally approved and confirmed as the assessment to pay the coste
<br /> and expeneea oY eaid improvements,
<br /> '8. That eaid Engineer's report ae amended be and the same ie hereby
<br /> finally adopted and approved as a whole.
<br /> 9. Ttiat the Clerk shall forthwith deliver to the 3uperintendent of
<br /> Streets of the City the said assesement, together with eaid'diagram thereto
<br /> attached and made a part thereof, as confirmed by this Council, with his •
<br /> certificate of such confirmation thereto attached and of the date thereof;
<br /> and that said 3uperintendent of 8treets�shall Yorthorith record said diagTam
<br /> and aesessment in hia office in a suitable book to be kept Yor that purpose
<br /> and append thereto his certificate of the date of such recording, and euah
<br /> reoordation sha11 oe and oonstitute the assessarent roll herein.
<br /> � 10. Tnat eaid 3uperintendent of 3treeta, upon the recording of eaid
<br /> diagram and asseesment, ahall mail to eacn owner of reaT property within
<br /> the asseesment dietrict at nis last known address as the eame appeara on
<br /> tne tax rolls of the County, or on file in the office of the City Clerk of
<br /> said Oity; or to both addresses, 1Y said address is not the same, or to the
<br /> general delivery wnen no addresa eo appears, a statement containing a desig-
<br /> nation by street nianber or other deacription of the property asaessed euf-
<br /> ficient to enable the owner to identify tne same, the amount of the asseee- '
<br /> ment, the date of the recordation oP esid aesessment, the time and plaoe
<br /> of payment thereof, tne effect oi Yailure to pay within such time, and a
<br /> statement of the fact that bonds will be issued on unpaid asaessments pur-
<br /> suant to the Improvement Bond Aot of 1911 the last inatallment of whioh
<br /> bonda shall mature nine (9) qears aYter the second day of January following
<br /> their date.
<br /> 11, That said Superintendent of Streets shall also give notice by
<br /> publiariing a copy of a Notice to Pay Aesesements by three (3) sucaeseine
<br /> inaertions in the Redvuood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper
<br /> published in tne City of Redwood City, tnat said assesement has been re-
<br /> corded in his office, and that all e�e asaessed thereon are due and
<br /> payable immediately, and that the pa.yment of eaid s�s is to be made to
<br /> him within aixtq (60) daye after the date oY recording eaid aseesement, •
<br /> whioh date shall - be stated in said notice, and of tne fact that bonde will
<br /> be iasued upon unpaid aesesements ae above provided.
<br /> The aboae and foregoing reeolution was paesed and adopted by the City
<br /> Oouncil of the City of Redwood City at a regular adjourned meeting thereof
<br /> held on the 3rd day of September, 1946, by the following vote:'
<br /> AYES, and in favor of the paseage and adoption of the`Yoregoing
<br /> resolution:
<br /> Councilmen: ARM3TRONG, BRIT3CHGI, GRANGER, SWIFT, WERDER and HILTON. '
