McCarthy, Police Chief C. L. Collins, ' Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Lodi, City Collector N. L. Miramontes, 3treet Superintendent H. L. Winter, Aoting City Engineer C. E. Randlett, Aesist- ant Huilding Inspector Stephen Kreiss, Health Inepect.or Royal Hodge. Absent: Councilman Harold F. Anderson, Mayot Hilton advised that Council- ' man Anderson was abaent because of illneee. Gouncilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that minutes of the previoue meeting be approned a.e mailed. Motion passed unanimously, Application for dance permit was received from Yvonne Schlichtmann to conduct dances 4Yednesdays, February 6th and 13th until 12:00 midnight, fee having been paid. Councilman Britechgi moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that permit be granted subject to the usual conditions. Mot�on pasaed • unanimously. Application for dance permit was received from Court Madrone No. 158, F, of A., to conduct benefit dances 9aturdays, February 9th and 16th until 12:00 midnight, Councilman McNulty moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that permit be granted. Motion passed unanimously. , Co.mmunication was received from J. J. Jordan, 8uperintendent of the Southern Pacific Ra.ilroad Company referring to Resolution No. 247 granting per- mission to Southern Pacific Company to maintain railroad Gateman's Tower on k9ilson Btreet. Attached for filing by the city was written acceptance � of the Southern Pacific Company of all of the provisions of the above , ' mentioned resolution. Mr. Jordan asked to be advised of the date the docu- ment is filed. Councilman Britscrigi moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher that the resolution and written acceptance oY the 3outhern Paciflc.Company , be filed, Under the question, Councilman Armstrong asked if all reetric- tions and conditions of the Council had oeen inaerted.
