<br /> Mayor Hilton announced that this was the time and place set for hearing protests I
<br /> ' to Reeolution No. 382 of preliminary determination concerning Redwood Ter-
<br /> race No. 1, and adjacent territory. The Clerk atated that no written pro-
<br /> tests had been received. Oral protests were called for and there were none.
<br /> Councilman Britechgi moned, seconded by Councilman Armetrong, adoption of
<br /> resolution determining to make improvements without compliance with investi-
<br /> , gation act in Redwood Terrace No. 1. On roll call, resolution waa unani-

<br /> Y9HEREA3, on August 19, 1946, thie Council adopted its Resolution of
<br /> Preliminary Determination No. 382 to conetruct certain publia improvements
<br /> more partioularly therein desoribed, and did fix therein this date as the
<br /> time and place when and where any and all persone interested may appear
<br /> and show cause, if any they hane, why the City Council should not fine and
<br /> determine that the public convenience and neceseity reouire the improve-
<br /> ments described and referred to in said resolution, without compliance with
<br /> the Special Assessment Inoeatigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
<br /> Act of 1931;
<br /> ' VPHEREAB, notice of the adoption of said preliminary resolution and of
<br /> esid time and place of hearing wae given by the City Clerk by publication
<br /> and poeting for the time and in the manner provided in eaid Resolut3on of

<br /> resolution of preliminary determination be, and the eame are hereby, over-
<br /> ruled and denied,
<br /> 3. That the improvements described in said resolution be made under
<br /> and pursuant to the provieions of the Redwood City Improvement Procedure
<br /> Ordinance (Ordinance No. 333 adopted March 14, 1932, as amended) more
<br /> particularly referred to in said resolution, and that the Special Asseae-
<br /> ment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 shall not
