RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, California, that WHEREAS, on Deoember 1'7, 1945, thie Council adopted ite Reaolution oi Preliminary Detex^nination No. 256 to conetruct certain public'improvementa more particularly tnerein described, and did fix therein this date ae the ' time and place when and where any and all persons interested may appear and snow cause, if any tney have, why the city council ehould not find and determine that tne public convenience and necessity require the improvemente deecribed and referred to in said resolution, without compliance with the Special Assessarent Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Aot of 1931; YPHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said preliminary reeolution and of said time and place of•hearing was given by the City Cler& by publication ' and posting for the time and in tne manner provided in said resolution of preliminary determination and Ordinance No. 515 of said City, as appeare from allidavits on file with the City Clerk; l9HEREAB, No written ob�ectione to the undertaking of said proceedings without first complying with tne provisione of said Innestigation Act have been filed with the Citq Clerk at or before the time Yixed for this hear- ing by persone interested, owing or having an interest in real property witnin the proposed assessment district, bearing their signatures, a description of their property, and a etatement of the nature of tneir in- terest therein; and • 9PHEREA3, all persons interested nave been given an opportunity to be and were fully heard, and said council has duly considered anq and all objections and proteats made, and the said proposed improvements, and the public convenience and neceasity for making same, N0�9. Phat any and all objections and protest made pursuant to said resolution of preliminary determination be and the same are hereby over- '' ruled�and denied; 3. City Attorney McCarthq also advised that Mr. Wilson,:attorneq in the proceedings, had aeked if it would be agreeable to imploy Mr. 9�illis Frost to prep�.re the plane and epecificatione for work, Acting City Engineer Aandlett advised that City Manager Blom and Frost had conferred on thie and it wae more or less agreed that Mr. Frost would do the work, inaemuch as the city engin- • eering department wae too busy. City Attorney MeCarthy advised in answer. �
