Councilman Armstrong o£fered introduction of ordinance repealing amendment to ' Personnel Ordinance providing for period of emergency etnployment being in- f creased from 90 days to 180 days. Motion passed unanimously. Councilman Hritschgi offered resolution reinstating original special qua,lifica- tion for firemen and police patrolmen under the Personnel 3ystem of the city, City Attorney �cCartny advised tnat it would be necessary to post ' tais resolution on tne bulletin board for five.days before final preaenta- tion, Councilman Granger moved that ine sum of �100, whicri had neen donated to tiie Community Cnest to administer and which they were unable to accept under their articles of incorporation; be transferred to the Red Cross provided they will administer the funds, The motion was seconded by Councilman Britschgi and passed unanimously. • City Attorney McCarthy advised that ,it would be necessary for the City C1erk to present election officers and precencts at the next meetin oF the Council. Councilman Fletcner was excused from the meeting. Claims No. 6459 to 6505, inclusive, in the amount of �8326,96 were approved and ' ordered paid on motion of Councilraan McNulty, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, Motion passed unanimously.
