Councilman Granger moved that this report be car- <br /> • ried on the agenda, seconded�:'.by Councifimau•"Aimstrong. Motion passed un- <br /> animously. <br /> City Manager Blom.advised that there had been some discusaion a.t the joint meet- <br /> ing.of the Port Commiesion and City Council in regard to the Yacht Harbo� <br /> facilities but that no definite decision had been reached, He said he <br /> believed tne Port Commiesion would submit a definite decision and aeked that it <br /> be carried on the agenda. The matter was carried on the agenda. <br /> ' Application wae received from A. H. Davies to remodel garage building on E1 <br /> Camino Real near Vera Avenue. The remodeling calls for removal of twenty- <br /> five per cent of the preseat building and replacing it with construction <br /> that meets with tne reauiremente of the building code. The reason for the <br /> application being brought before the Council was to take action on whether <br /> remodeling the front of the building woul•d create any more fire hazard. <br /> In the opinion of City Manager Blom the remodeling was to be a vast im- <br /> • provement over the present conatruction. Councilman Britschgi moved, second- <br /> . ed by Councilman Fletcher, triat the permit be granted eubject to the recom- <br /> mendation of the Building Inspector. Motion passed unanimouslq: <br /> A re.port from the consultant making a traffic survey for the Martin Transpor- <br /> tation Bus Company was placed on the agenda for the next meeting, <br /> ' Mr. H. H. Weiner appe�,red before the Council and etated that in regard to the <br /> request for canceliing certain delinquencies against lots in the Lenolt <br /> 3ubdivision he was not aeking for a cancellation of city taxes but wae ask- <br /> ing for the cancellation of street bonds. He eaid tnat he nad had an <br /> agreement with the late City Manager Dimmitt that if he turned in sewer <br /> ' bonds to clear the title on certain lots the city would, in turn, cancel <br /> the etreet bonds and asked that the city carry out thia agreement, He said <br /> this agreement had been discussed by the late City Attorney Mansfield and <br /> Attorney Morrisaey. Councilman Granger moved, seconded bg Councilman <br /> Fletcher, that the matter be referred to the City Manager to make whatever <br /> � investigation is necessary and a report be had at the next meeting.
